Winter to Spring
Winter has this way of wrapping us up in stillness. The shorter days, the crisp air, the extra excuses to cozy up with blankets, books, and warm mugs of tea. There’s a slowness to it—a pause, a deep breath before the next chapter. And while I love that season of rest, I can feel it now… the shift.
Spring is whispering.
It starts subtly—the way the sun lingers just a little longer in the evening, the way the birds begin their morning chatter earlier and earlier. And then, almost overnight, it’s everywhere. The air hums with something new, like the world is waking up from a long nap, stretching its arms, and saying, Alright, let’s go.
And isn’t that exactly what happens to us, too?
We’ve spent the winter in reflection, in slow Sunday mornings and early nights. We’ve given ourselves permission to rest, to dream, to gather energy. But now? Now it’s time to move. To burst forward with new ideas, fresh plans, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Spring reminds us that it’s okay to shake off the quiet, to step out boldly, to take up space. It invites us to plant seeds—both literally and figuratively. What do you want to grow this season? A new project? A new mindset? A new version of yourself that’s been waiting beneath the surface, just like those little green sprouts pushing through the soil?
This is your moment. The world is shifting, and so are you.
So take a deep breath of that fresh spring air. Feel the energy buzzing around you. It’s time to stretch, to bloom, to chase what sets your soul on fire.
Winter gave us rest. Spring gives us movement. And I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to run.
